Funding, grants and awards

The team behind knowledge exchange platform CollectieveKracht is grateful that their work is both supported and appreciated by several Dutch organisations. Since 2020, the project has received subsidies and grants totalling €667.000 from the following funds: 

In 2025, CollectieveKracht was awarded the prestigious KHMW Brouwer Vertrouwensprijs (Brouwer Trust Prize). The accolade, which comes with €100,000 in funding, was presented during a ceremony held on 20 January 2025 in Haarlem, the Netherlands. This recognition underlines the platform’s vital role in fostering mutual trust and societal cohesion through citizen collectives.

In 2023, CollectieveKracht was awarded with the EUR Open and Responsible Science Award for Societal Engagement. Jury members said about the platform, “CollectieveKracht’s community-building efforts emphasised sustainability and involved various stakeholders, providing valuable access to big data.”
