Trude Maas-de Brouwer was a member of the Board of Directors of BSO/Origin in Utrecht. She then became an independent director and supervisor at Schiphol Group, Philips Electronics Nederland, ABN AMRO, Arbo Unie, Van Gogh Museum, among others. She was chair of the Van Leer Group Foundation. Her specialisms are talent, education and innovation. Maas was a member of the Senate for the PvdA in 1998-1999 and 2002-2007. Among other things, she was chair of the standing committee for Science Policy and Higher Education and responsible for the Economic Affairs portfolio. Maas-de Brouwer started as a French teacher and then made a career at the CITO (test development) and as a manager in the automation sector. Floor Milikowski is a journalist and social geographer. She is the author of the bestsellers Van wie is de stad (2018), Een klein land met verre uithoeken (2020) and Wij zijn de stad (2021). After graduating from high school at the Barlaeus Gymnasium in Amsterdam, she studied urban planning and social geography at the University of Amsterdam and San Francisco State University. Hans Stegeman is chief economist at Triodos Bank and columnist for the Financieele Dagblad. He is responsible for economic and sustainability research and the impact strategy of Triodos. Before joining Triodos, he worked at Rabobank as chief economist, the CPB (Central Planning Bureau) and the trade union ABVAKABO. He has broad experience in, among others, macroeconomics, public finance, circular economy, and sustainability. Dr. Martijn de Waal is a Dutch researcher and professor specializing in urban media, digital culture, and the role of technology in public spaces. Currently, he is lector Civic Interaction Design at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. He is known for his work on the concept of "urban commons," exploring how digital platforms can be used to manage shared urban resources and foster collaborative city-making.
