ECCO, a brand new initiative from CollectieveKracht, is taking shape

What a dynamic in this club of scientists, governments and networks of citizen collectives! Nice to see how we are bringing society and science closer together with CollectiveKracht.

Together we will better monitor the rapid development of citizen collectives in the Netherlands and abroad.

Citizen collectives and social transitions
If we get a good overview of citizen collectives and how they develop in the long term, we can support them even more in their role within societal transitions. Citizen collectives can also use this knowledge to place their own development in a broader perspective, learning from each other as well as from scientific insights.

Stronger together
Typical of citizen collectives is that they grow from the bottom up, on the initiative of citizens, but that also makes it more difficult to reach them. Fortunately, we are getting help with this from our many network partners from the CollectiveKracht network lab, such as Energie Samen, LSA bewoners, NCR - Nationale Coรถperatieve Raad , Cooplink - knowledge network for residential cooperatives, Knarrenhof, Buurkracht, LaNSCO and a lot of government partners.

In the coming weeks we will get to work to properly elaborate our beautiful plans. We are looking forward to it!
