CollectivePower is a knowledge platform by and for citizen collectives from all sectors: from energy to housing, from healthcare to food. CollectivePower connects and helps citizen collectives to develop resiliently and overcome obstacles together. Independent, free and accessible.
Collaboration is at the heart of CollectivePower. The platform emerged from the collaboration between the Social Enterprise and Institutions for Collective Action (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and a broad base of network organizations and citizen collectives from a wide range of sectors.
Rooted in our scientific background, the research team believes in the resilience of citizen collectives. At the same time, we see that collectives sometimes lack the knowledge to take significant steps to address the challenges they face. Yet, this knowledge does exist: among other collectives, researchers, financial institutions, and government bodies.
The research team brought together four groups of experts in the partner labs: groups of scientists (Science Lab), representatives from financial institutions (Finance Lab), government bodies (Government Lab), and network organizations (Network Lab). They aim to address the collectives' questions. Together with a platform for knowledge exchange between collectives, this constitutes CollectivePower.
This means you are the most important factor at CollectivePower: your contributions form the indispensable added value of this platform. By exchanging knowledge and experiences with other citizen collectives, by asking targeted questions to the partner labs, and by participating in scientific research, you help yourself and other collectives. We believe in reciprocity: not just gathering information, but also providing it.
CollectivePower is constantly evolving. The goal is to make more and more information and tools available soon—and in the long term as well. Your input is also important for this.
