ECCO welcomes new PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers

This month, three postdoctoral researchers and eleven PhD candidates have started at ECCO. They will be working at various universities and universities of applied sciences to investigate how we can strengthen citizen collectives in societal transitions.

€6.8 million for research on the collective power of citizens in societal transitions

Great news! Thanks to a grant of €6.8 million from the Dutch Research Council (NWO), the ECCO project can kick off in 2026. The goal? To empower citizen collectives and improve their collaboration with governments. Scientists, government bodies, and civil society organizations are joining forces.
