Charging the commons #1: From (Be)Commoning to Commoning

The first episode of the series Charging the Commons focuses on the process of becoming a commons. Which factors hinder or facilitate commons initiatives? How are challenges addressed? Which external actors can support sub-communities?

Commons are communities that share resources, such as a (food) garden, energy, cars, a laundry facility, and more. What does it take to set up such a community? What steps does a group of people need to go through to become a commons?

Lukas Held from CollectieveKracht joins this conversation with Zsuzsanna Tomor (researcher at AUAS), Darinka Czischke (professor at TU Delft), and Joachim Meerkerk (PhD at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences).

This event is part of the two-year research project Charging the Commons by Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Avans University of Applied Sciences.
